DIRECTOR / SONGWRITING TUTOR
Sam has taught music workshops for over 10 years and has a degree in Songwriting and a level 7 (MA) teaching certificate.
He is an active musician with his band Rising Fever, touring Europe and the USA with artists such as Starsailor, Caroline Spence, and Ben Caplan.
He is also a touring session musician, playing in 2023 with Alana Springsteen in her MainStage performance at The Long Road Festival.
Sam is also a tour manager, assisting on the Richard Thompson (Fairport Convention) tour, at venues such as The Brighton Dome and London's Alexandra Palace.
In 2022, he was the featured vocalist of theme song of the BBC One Drama 'The Syndicate'.

Sean is a highly experienced tutor and band leader who holds a masters in music. Sean is highly devoted to helping our students achieve their creative goals.

Chris has been playing and writing music since the age of 11. The last few years have seen him touring and playing live across the UK and Europe. Chris has played with bands such as Allah Las, Demob Happy, Peace, The Nude Party, The Sheepdogs, Triptides, Murlocs and Daniel Romano, to name a few.
Chris, who excels at bass, guitar, and drums. has been well sought after and teaches in multiple institutions around Brighton.

Tom has been working within the music industry for over a decade, writing, touring, and performing original projects throughout the UK and across many parts of Europe.
He is qualified with a BA Honors in Professional musicianship and Songwriting. Currently, he is splits his time between writing for advert sync/music library as well as helping to deliver and support creative projects for people with learning disabilities at NRG, Superstar Arts and SMS.
He has a passion for songwriting and a real love for helping others delve into songwriting as a tool to be creative.“
New Rock Generation has been teaching band workshops for over 15 Years in the EAST SUSSEX AREA.
Our specialised courses were originally designed for Blatchington Mill School's Community Arts Project. Due to the success of these workshops, New Rock Generation Ltd was formed in 2012 and now offers its courses / events to young people across Brighton and Hove.
Many of our previous students are working as professional musicians or have gone on to study music at A Level and Degree Level.
What we do
New Rock Generation provides young people aged 9-18 with expert tuition in band skills, song writing / creative composition, studio recording, pre-production and live performance techniques.
We offer workshops and masterclasses in local professional studios and performance opportunities at real live music venues.
We also provide tailor made workshops / enrichment activities to local schools.
New Rock Generation is fully inclusive and can cater for a wide range of abilities and special educational needs.
